- Installation is from January 2012 onwards. Internet connection begins 01-02-2012 and ends 30-11-2012.
- Tenants must provide their own Internet wireless router. These range from $80 to $120 and we can recommend Linksys E1000 or D-link Wireless 150 router available from Dick Smith’s or Harvey Norman outlets.
- We need the landlord’s permission before we can go ahead with installation, they can email us directly at info
wic.co.nz - Payment for the pre-paid plan must be made within 7 days of installation. For the monthly plan the installation fee of $200 and one payment of $59.95 for a month in advance must be made within 7 days of installation.
- Following payments of $59.95 can then be set up by automatic payment into our account on the 7th of each month, starting on 7th of March and the final payment the 7th of November, unless arranged with us to terminate earlier. Our account number for direct Internet payments is 06-0901-0342577-00.
- One account per Residence for payment. The account holder is the person responsible for all Internet usage with respect to the Copyright (Infringing File-sharing) Amendment Act 2011.
- We will provide you with a Coverage map and the terms and conditions of use. All users of the Wireless Otago Polytechnic service must abide by both the Otago Polytechnic rules for Internet usage and our Terms and Conditions.
