What is your learning style?

Everyone learns best in their own way. This is called a learning style. You might use mostly your eyes, your ears, or you use your whole body. You'd be a visual, an auditory, or a kinaesthetic learner.

Also, you might study best in the morning, or in the evening (a lark or an owl). People can have seven intelligences, wear six thinking hats, be splitters or lumpers, global or sequential thinkers,  intuitive or sensing etc.

While these models are interesting and informative, they simplify reality. You don't want to learn in only one particular way, ignoring other methods.  We  recommend that you tackle learning from various angles, like cross-training. Try out new ways of learning, even if you are doubtful. If you use a variety of styles, you are more likely to learn more deeply and meaningfully.

But do find out your learning preferences. Use those strategies that will optimize those preferences. Have you got any weaknesses? Maybe you can strengthen them. The more you use all of your senses, and the greater the range of methods you use, the greater the fraction of your brain you'll be using. This will lead to deeper learning. It's the best way to take responsibility for your learning.
