The pastoral support for the students is probably the most important part of the programme. There are two Japanese liaisons that provide support to the students and come in most days to see and discuss issues with the students.
The liaisons are Keiko Garrity and Yoko Ashworth. The International Centre also provides homestays for all of the students. The homestays are carefully monitored throughout the year.
The students write regular reports back to their institution in Japan and we are in constant correspondence with their staff. At the end and beginning of each year we either host or are hosted by the KTC staff. Regular contact with the institution maintains the very stable relationship that the programme has and how it is viewed by not only KTC, but by many other institutions in Japan.

Michael Pryde is the programme manager and English teacher for this certificate. Jean Gordon is also teaching English on the programme. As can be seen from the timetable, we usually teach from 9 -12 weekdays. Please feel free to contact us about anything in relation to the programme.
