Calendar
The Certificate in English and Engineering (CEE) is a one-year programme. It runs parallel to the Japanese year, i.e., late April to the middle of March. It also has only a four week break over the Christmas period.
The yearly programme is made up of intensive English only classes for the first 3 weeks of the students’ arrival in Dunedin.
These English classes prepare the students for living in their homestays and functioning around the OP campus.
The students are gradually introduced to engineering classes in the first term.
The English classes start to decrease in the second and third term due to there being an increase in the engineering classes.
By the fourth term there are only a few English classes, but many engineering classes.
