The number of students graduating from Otago Polytechnic each year is increasing, and from processing the Graduation Attendance Forms for December 2011, we can now see we are expecting one of the biggest graduation ceremonies Otago Polytechnic has ever had.
Therefore we regretfully inform you that due to the number of students who will be attending and the size of the venue this year, we will only be issuing 2 Guest Tickets to each attending Graduand. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Graduations are a great opportunity for students to celebrate all their hard work and achievements with family and friends.
Otago Polytechnic holds two formal graduation ceremonies a year, in March and December.
Students must graduate within 14 months of attaining their qualifications.
9 March, 2012
Information for Graduand's booklets are distributed to eligible students approximately two months prior to a ceremony. A Graduation attendance form is enclosed with the booklet and must be returned by the due date.
Graduands may receive their award:
If no form is submitted by the student, it will be presumed the student is graduating in absentia.
Arrangements can be made for graduates to collect their awards from customer services after the Graduation ceremony.
Otago Polytechnic graduands who are attending a ceremony, do not require a ticket for themselves. To request tickets for guests to attend the ceremony, the graduating student needs to fill in the ticket information section on the graduation attendance form.
Special seating arrangements can be made for guests or graduates. Please request assistance on the Graduation Attendance form.
Graduands may like to attend their individual Department/School Graduation function. Details of other Graduation celebrations to be held are printed in the Information for Graduands Booklets.
