Bachelor of Midwifery
Otago Polytechnic's three-year bachelor's degree in midwifery is the oldest in the world. We were also the first to establish a postgraduate midwifery programme in New Zealand.
Learning Style
Studying is more practical than traditional options. CPIT and Otago Polytechnic developed a new Bachelor of Midwifery in 2009 to better cater to students who benefit from distance learning. The programme utilises a blend of face to face learning, online learning and 'hands on' learning.
Important Dates
- Cut off for Bachelor of Midwifery Applicants is 30 August
- Cut off for Masters is February and June
Applicants must complete:
- Otago Polytechnic Application/Enrolment form
- Bachelor of Midwifery Application Information Document
- Two Referee Reports
