
Tania attended the School of Visual Arts, Nelson Polytechnic 1989 -1994 graduating with both a Diploma in Craft Design (Textiles) and Certificate in Fashion and Design.
While living in Nelson Tania gained industry experience through part-time work in an apparel design and manufacturing business. Since returning to Dunedin in 1995 she has worked as a self employed fashion and textile designer, specialising in made-to-measure garments.
Tania completed a BCApSc (Otago) 2003, the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Learning and Teaching (2007) and Postgraduate Certificate in Adaptive Design 2009 (Otago Polytechnic).
Her work has been shown in various group exhibitions, theatre performances and wearable art awards. Special interest and research areas include the design and construction of user centred garments, textile manipulation and surface decoration.
