My passion for interior design is based around the understanding of space as an interactive relationship between the human body and the environment. 

The integration of ideas developed through teaching and practicing within the fields of Design and Art over the last several years have provided me with a rich resource of inspiration for my position here as lecturer in the Interior Design programme.

I teach theory and studio papers which enable theoretical and applied applications to be an integrated approach to design and encourages students to see design from a broad perspective.

I see my practice as an interdisciplinary interrogation of Jewellery and Architecture, and am currently exploring this in the Master of Fine Arts programme at the Dunedin School of Art at Otago Polytechnic.
