Creative Studies

The Certificate in Creative Studies is a practical course designed to give students a foundation in visual arts and design.   This hands-on course is taught in a studio/workshop setting including lectures and group discussions.  We teach a wide range of art and design techniques working with contemporary concepts and materials.

Students study drawing, creative processes, digital design and foundation studies, these core subjects are taken by all students.   As well, students tailor this course to their individual needs by choosing four studio papers from a range of associated areas: fashion, product, interiors, communication design and fine art.

At the completion of this course students come out with a portfolio which may be used for entry into further study in related design and art fields and in some situations for work applications.
