Wanaka is located on the doorstep of some of New Zealand’s premier ski resorts offering a great opportunity to gain qualifications in a real-life hands-on environment.

Snowsports and Avalanche courses are taught from Cardrona Alpine Resort and Otago Polytechnic classrooms at Plantation Rd, Wanaka. 

This is also the base for the Community Learning Centre where Computing and Business Administration and Creative Studies courses are available.
