Online and Distance Options from Central Otago
The programmes and courses listed below are offered with online or distance learning options. Some can be studied in their entirety, away from the Otago Polytechnic campus areas, while others require that the student attend block courses either in Dunedin or one of the Central Otago venues.

Distance programmes:
A wide range of options are available to study programmes from Central Otago. Our distance learning programmes allow you to do the majority of study from home with attendance at block courses during the programme. The number of block courses, the duration and location varies for each programme studied. As an example, the National Diploma in Veterinary Nursing has a block course component of 2 x 5 day sessions during April and September in Christchurch.
