This one-day seminar provides comprehensive training for people who are preparing for a supervisory position in a licensed premise, and intend to apply for their Managers Certificate. The Seminar includes the NZQA assessments: Unit 4646 “Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and implications on licensed premise operators” and Unit 16705 “Demonstrate knowledge of Host Responsibility requirements as a liquor licence controller”

This is a two and a half day course which offers participants a comprehensive knowledge of barista skills. The programme covers the history and evolution of coffee and the production of all coffee recipes requested in today’s cafe society.
On successful completion of the test and a practical assessment, participants will be awarded the “HSI Certificate in Barista”.
On completion of this course, students will be able to apply agrichemicals safely & accurately according to the Agrichemical User Code of Practice NZS8409.

Note that the first date shown is the actual course and the second date is a half-day practical/calibration day which may be required in addition to the course (students are advised during the course).
Our Computing ‘Bits & Bytes’ courses are designed where students gain computing skills but are not working towards a particular qualification.
