Centre for Sustainable Practice

The Centre is a business unit of Otago Polytechnic, overseen by the Group Manager - Regions with governance from an advisory group consisting of Phil Ker (Chief Executive Otago Polytechnic) and representatives from the Otago region, and a range of industry areas.

Although the Centre is separate from existing Otago Polytechnic curriculum or operations, sustainability advisers work with a number of people from OP departments on aspects of sustainability on campus.  Sustainability initiatives and activity are integrated into the institution as capacity allows.

Objective

To lead the development of sustainable practice in the Otago region.

  • Advisers are Steve Henry (Programme Development), Mark Jackson (Operations) and Anna Hughes (Curriculum).
