Fa'a Aotearoa (working title)

As a person of mixed heritage, I am using my cultural location to explore issues of belonging, otherness and identity. I am interested in addressing the nature of written art theory and how it relates to an indigenous view point in a New Zealand specific context.

Biography

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otago Polytechnic School of Fine Arts in 2003 Inder has exhibited in numerous shows and participated in various group projects. As well as studying towards her Master of Fine Arts she lectures part time in the Design Department at the Otago Polytechnic and manages an arts studio for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
