Her practice may be described as digital video work, with a performance and installation aspect of execution, but she mainly describes herself as a video artist. Rachael will be welcomed to the Dunedin School of Art on the 12th of August where she will be spending time over the next month working on a new project. She will be giving a seminar on Recent Work on the 26 August at 12.15pm-1.15pm in P152. All interested members of the public are invited to attend Rachael's seminar.
During her residencey at the Dunedin School of Art Rachael will be working on a new video called "So many men under the bridge", part of He Waiata Whaiaipo series. For this work Rachael will be using the river like current of the pool Swimming Flume at the Otago University PhysEd School, the only of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
