


The new Dunedin School of Art extension, completed early in 2009 and which includes a new art gallery and large open plan studio space for senior students, is the winner of a regional New Zealand Institute of Architects Award for Public Builidngs.
Chief Executive of Otago Polytechnic, Phil Ker, received the award on behalf of the School of Art and Otago Polytechnic at the annual Southern Architecture Awards in Queenstown on Friday 20 November.
The new extension is currently the venue for SITE 09 - the annual exhibition of graduating art students. SITE 09 runs this week from 23 - 26th November, 12- 4pm daily. Public welcome.
