Grants are available to Otago Polytechnic staff for research projects where there is a publishable output. Staff should also consult the Research Departmental Polybase intranet page. Please contact the Research Office for more advice. Applications should be made on the Joint Funding/Ethics application form below.

Process for Otago Polytechnic researchers to identify research of interest to Ngai Tahu
In accordance with Otago Polytechnic’s Memorandum of Understanding with Ngai Tahu an interim process has been established for identifying research of interest to Ngai Tahu. This process is currently an informal process which asks Otago Polytechnic researchers to provide copies of their research proposals to an Interim Committee prior to submitting their proposal to the Research or Ethics Committee.
