Completion of a minimum of 42 NCEA Level 3 credits across four subjects and literacy (8 NCEA Level 2 credits) and numeracy (14 NCEA Level 1 credits), OR hold the Certificate in Information Technology or the Certificate in Creative Studies from Otago Polytechnic OR be able to demonstrate equivalent qualifications or work experience and evidence of the ability to study at tertiary level.
Applicants are required to submit a portfolio for consideration in the selection process.
English language skills equivalent to an IELTS overall band score (academic) of 6.0 (with writing and speaking no less than 6.0 and reading and listening no less than 5.5).
Otago Polytechnic is preparing to launch a bachelors' degree in interactive multimedia design in 2008*. You may also choose to complete higher-level study in any of the fine arts, information technology or design disciplines.
