
There is a strong demand nationally and internationally for people who can veneer houses in stone and build stone features such as paths, walls, fireplaces and water features. This Cromwell-based programme is the only full-time stonemasonry course in New Zealand. It covers a wide range of skills and includes extensive practical and work experience, in order to produce specialist stonemasonry professionals with a high level of competence and the ability to work independently.
Entry to this programme is open. However you will need to be physically fit in order to cope with physical lifting and the use of manual equipment.
Must meet all stated entry requirements, plus demonstrate English language skills equivalent to an IELTS overall band score (academic) of 5.5 (with writing no less than 6.0 and no other score less than 5.0).
Duration: One Year (Full-Time)
Location: Cromwell
Learning options: Full-time. Individual modules available for part-time study.
Start date: February. Some additional work will be required to cover core stonemasonry and health and safety skills if joining after March.

International annual indicative fee: $17,000
