The sport and adventure industries offer some of the most exciting and challenging opportunities in the world. You’ll learn how to achieve your goals, focusing on the most current knowledge and practical expertise you’ll need to succeed, and to help others do the same.

You're on the right track if your interests include: Science, Biology, Health and Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Studies, English, Maths, Geography, Outdoor Education,  And your skills include: communication, committment, self-motivation and good judgement.

Our Qualifications

Otago Polytechnic offers programmes ranging from certificate to graduate diploma level in the areas of sport and adventure including snowsports and avalanche safety (Wanaka-based). We have also recently introduced a Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in Physical Activity, Health and Wellness.
