Since its establishment in 2008, Otago Polytechnic has successfully worked with Bahrain as advisors, mentors and collaborators, supporting Bahrain’s curriculum development, staff recruitment and leadership training.

The Kanazawa Technical College programme was established by Otago Polytechnic’s English Language Institute in 2003 and developed by the School of Architecture, Building and Engineering (ABE) in 2005, as an opportunity for Japanese students to learn English and engineering. The School of ABE now sees 15 to 20 Kanazawa students successfully compete the programme annually.
