
A stylish exhibit of School of Design students' creations installed in Dunedin's Wall Street Mall has sparked significant public interest, with many passers-by stopping to admire the display and inspect the works more closely.
Made It! A Pop-Up Student Design Exhibition features work by Bachelor of Design students from all years and disciplines, and aims to profile the School and the range of courses and activities it offers.
There's a jewellery display, including geometric shaped necklaces, earrings and rings by third-year Interior Design student, Lisa Van Ren. Many of the designs are lit up, such as Illuminated Fungi; a lamp which takes the form of a patch of mushrooms, created by first-year-Product Design student, Daniel Goodman. There are also chairs, including a modern variation from first-year Product Design student, Jarn Bulling.
