Dunedin Fashion in ‘Vogue’

Vogue, Vogue, Vogue…Madonna made it famous and now Dunedin design students will feature in it.

The School of Design is going from strength to strength as they receive an official invite to feature in the September issue of Vogue Italia.

A selection of portfolios from the school’s top 10 graduates will be potentially showcased in the upcoming issue which will include photos of their collection, work sketches and a biography and portrait of each student.

Named the ‘top fashion magazine in the world’, hundreds of famous faces have graced the cover of Vogue Italia including Naomi Campbell, Emma Watson and Kate Moss.

The School of Design continues to shine on the international stage, with two recent fashion graduates selected to contend for a prestigious Italian design award.

Sophie Brooke Hardy and Roxanna Zamani will travel to Gorizia in northeast Italy at the end of June to take part in the Mittelmoda Fashion Award, one of the world’s most coveted prizes for emerging designers.
