Otago Polytechnic is seeking a suitably qualified Fitter / Machinist, to fill a fixed term lecturing position in the engineering industry with basic automotive skills.
The successful applicant will hold advanced qualifications in the engineering industry, or relevant experience.
This position will involve teaching and assessment of students on the Engineering Youth Guarantee programme and other programmes which have an automotive component.
Night class supervision may be required one night per week.
The position requires the applicant to have recent and extensive experience as a Fitter / Machinist or equivalent knowledge. Previous tertiary teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
Please note this is a fixed term position from February until 10 December 2010.
